Ice selection of jade

1 Look at the color.

See if the colors are pure, rich, uniform, and use a spotlight to check for hidden noise. It is better to have dark colors, pure and uniform colors, and small impurities. Emerald green jade has a higher price, followed by red, purple. In the green, the tender green with yellowish water (also known as "Yangyin" green) is the best, followed by gemstone green, green water, and green oil, all of which are well-distributed with green.

2 Observe transparency.

Observing under strong light, the higher the transparency, the better.

3 Listen to the sound.

Cribbing sounds better.

4 Observe green and stone flowers.

Observing the light, there are flashes of other mineral particles in Jadeite (ie, Tsui Sui), and often lumps of white flowers, called stone flowers. Both are less preferred.

5 See cracks and dark spots.

Some of the cracks are found in the ore, and some are caused by processing, and less is better. Black spots are black spots in various places in the jade, and small and small are better.

6 see the processing level.

The surface is smooth, polished, and shape is better.
